Ukrainian Easter Festival

On April 15, 2023, the Ukrainian Easter Festival was held, organized by the Ukrainian Beehive - educational and integration center with the support of UNICEF Bulgaria, Sofia Tech Park, and "Mother Ukraine" CSB, @CVS-Bulgaria

This is the second Ukrainian Festival held in Sofia. The purpose of the Festival is to introduce Bulgarians to Ukrainian culture and traditions, to thank for the support of Ukrainians in Bulgaria and to congratulate them on Easter!

Thanks to our partners, we were able to make a bright and fun holiday for children and adults!

At the official opening, all participants of the Festival were congratulated by the head of "Ukrainian Vulik" Yulianna Kulyukina, Ambassador of Ukraine to Bulgaria Olesya Ilashchuk, deputy head of the SofiaTechPark management board Kostadin Petkov and program director of UNICEF Bulgaria Ivaylo Spasov.

The "tastiest" highlight of the Festival was the Pasok competition! Our hosts treated the members of the jury and guests to delicious Paskas! It was very difficult for the jury to choose the winners! All contest participants received gift certificates from SUOB Mata Ukraine!

Ukrainian craftsmen presented their products at our fair! Various creations with a part of Ukrainian culture and soul, many bright and beautiful things of our own production: paintings, toys, wreaths, clothes and bags, jewelry, candles and soap, were offered to the guests of the holiday.

There were many activities for children of all ages. The children's playground and board games worked all the time. And at fun sports games and logic tasks, children earned tickets, which they could then exchange for Easter sweets.

The finale of the event was a concert with performances by Ukrainian and Bulgarian singers: children and adults! And at the end, according to tradition, we sang "Red Kalina" together in Ukrainian and Bulgarian!
